It's been a while since I wrote anything here and for good reason. I have been busy designing and manufacturing new learning materials. It has taken longer than I expected but at last we are at the stage where we will get completed designs in our hands to use with children. We have already had positive feedback with the mock up materials. We hope to launch them in the new year with the help of our online reseller.
All of the materials have been developed using our 30 years of experience in Montessori education. We have also continually referred to Dr. Montessori's writings and we have continually tried to impart what we believe Dr. Montessori would have done had she been here today. Underpinning everything we do is the observation of the child.
There are a number of changes in health and education, which have manifested since the death of Dr. Montessori. As a scientist she would be all too aware of the needs of the child today and she would have considered the implications of health and well being on the child given these huge changes.
We believe that we are on the brink of a complete change in the way that nurseries and schools operate. We believe that within a short time nurseries and schools will face the same stringent measures for prevention of transmission of diseases as hospitals are facing. We cannot ignore the movement of peoples all over the world and we cannot ignore the threat of Ebola.
We believe that we are preempting what is to come and that our materials will shape the way many educational materials are produced in years to come. We hope that you support our venture and take advantage of the opportunity to use these materials in their early stages.
